Software Architect

About the role

Dubizzle Labs is expanding its Pakistan office and seeks a Software Architect to lead the design and delivery of high‑quality, scalable products that support rapid growth across multiple countries. You will mentor engineers, set technical standards, and collaborate closely with product, design, and infrastructure teams.

Key responsibilities

• Gain deep knowledge of the Dubizzle code base, technologies, and industry trends.
• Share architectural expertise and act as a mentor within your product stream and across teams.
• Collaborate with leads and senior engineers to ensure software meets the highest standards.
• Promote and enforce company‑wide coding standards, guidelines, and best practices.
• Provide technical leadership, set realistic goals, and guide projects to successful delivery.
• Influence the technical vision and direction for your product area.
• Work closely with Product, Infrastructure, Design, UX, CLM, and Strategy teams.
• Recruit and develop high‑performing engineering talent.
• Own business KPIs and align technical decisions with product and business objectives.

Required profile

• 9+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring abilities.
• Experience with high‑traffic, large‑scale web products is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Kanban, Scrum, and XP.
• Good understanding of product, design, and UX principles.
