Software Engineer - E-Commerce (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Software Engineer to join a global technology leader that powers high‑traffic e‑commerce platforms. The position is remote and focuses on building scalable backend services that support real‑time user experiences worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services in distributed systems.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and testing standards.
• Optimize system performance through profiling, debugging, and algorithmic improvements.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical design sessions.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to ship features.

Required profile

• New‑graduate or early‑career professional with a strong foundation in software engineering.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and communicate effectively with cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Go, Python, or Java.
• Experience with distributed systems, microservices, or cloud‑native development.
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases and performance tuning.
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles.
• Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Skills in profiling, debugging, and algorithmic optimization.
