Software Engineer II

About the role

Overjet is seeking a motivated Software Engineer II to build impactful software products for dental insurance and practice customers. You will work on cross‑functional project teams, shaping technical direction and delivering high‑quality code in a fast‑growing AI‑driven healthcare environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions that improve patient outcomes.
• Write efficient, high‑quality code following best practices.
• Partner with product and other cross‑functional teams as a technical lead.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues.
• Participate in code reviews and help improve development processes.
• Take part in regular and ad‑hoc on‑call rotations.

Required profile

• Strong academic background in Computer Science or a related field.
• Significant experience delivering software products with increasing responsibility.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, mission‑focused environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
