Software QA & Automation Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our web and mobile applications. You will design, execute, and maintain comprehensive test strategies while working closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute detailed test cases, scenarios, and plans for web, mobile, and API‑based applications.
• Perform functional, non‑functional, sanity, regression, and API testing.
• Identify, document, track, and verify defects using Jira.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to uphold quality standards.
• Leverage AI/LLM tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) to generate and optimise test cases.
• Develop, maintain, and run automated test scripts using Playwright, Cypress, and Appium.
• Participate in release validation, root‑cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Strong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and defect management.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple testing activities.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Manual testing methodologies and best practices.
• Jira for bug tracking and test management.
• AI/LLM tools for test case generation (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini).
• JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
• Playwright and/or Cypress automation frameworks.
• Appium for mobile automation.
• API testing techniques and tools.
