Software Sales Executive

About the role

The Software Sales Executive will join United Marine Agencies in Karachi to drive new business for the company’s software and technology solutions. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on prospecting, presenting, and closing deals with clients in the shipping and logistics sector.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new business opportunities for UMA’s software portfolio.
• Generate leads, manage the sales pipeline, and conduct prospecting activities.
• Prepare and deliver customized sales presentations and product demonstrations.
• Apply consultative selling techniques to understand client needs and propose appropriate solutions.
• Negotiate pricing and contract terms, and close sales agreements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth implementation and high customer satisfaction.
• Monitor market trends, maintain accurate sales records, and achieve or exceed sales targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience in software, technology or SaaS sales.
• Strong background in lead generation, pipeline management and consultative selling.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work on‑site in Karachi and travel locally to meet clients.
• Familiarity with the shipping, logistics or maritime industry is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM tools.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
