Solution Architect – Data Modeling & Architecture

About the role

NCR Atleos is seeking a Solutions Architect / Data Modeler to design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions that support enterprise applications, data warehouses, analytics, reporting, and integration platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Conceptual, Logical, and Physical Data Models for enterprise‑wide data environments.
• Define source‑to‑target mappings, transformation rules, and integration requirements for ETL/ELT processes.
• Design dimensional models (Star and Snowflake schemas) optimized for BI and analytical workloads.
• Ensure data models comply with governance principles, naming conventions, metadata, and quality standards.
• Review and optimize models for query performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, developers, and business stakeholders to align data solutions with enterprise objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data modeling, data architecture, or data warehousing in large enterprises.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, SQL, normalization/denormalization, and dimensional modeling.
• Hands‑on experience with data integration, ETL/ELT, and source‑to‑target mapping.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
