Spare Parts Assistant

About the role

The Spare Parts Assistant supports the efficient handling of automotive components for Suzuki Motorways' workshop and showroom. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience in parts receipt, storage, and issue while working closely with technicians and suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, label and store incoming spare parts.
• Maintain organized shelves and ensure parts are protected and easy to locate.
• Update stock records, prepare issue and receipt documentation, and report any discrepancies.
• Assist counter staff, technicians and other departments in identifying and issuing required parts.
• Participate in regular stock counts and monitor fast‑moving, slow‑moving and low‑stock items.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams regarding availability, orders and delivery status.
• Follow safety, housekeeping and company procedures within the parts area.

Required profile

• Basic understanding of automotive spare parts or workshop operations.
• Ability to receive, inspect, classify, store and issue parts accurately.
• Familiarity with basic inventory record‑keeping and stock‑counting.
• Good attention to part numbers, quantities and documentation.
• Clear communication skills with technicians, suppliers and internal departments.
• Organised, reliable and physically ready for routine parts handling.
