Specialist Data Center Infra Operations

About the role

The Specialist Data Center Infra Operations role reports to the Manager Data Center Infra Operation and is responsible for operational activities at core and data‑center facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Site owner of assigned Core Sites in the region.
• Perform Data Center Infra Operations (DCIO) activities at Core sites.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance covering power and environment.
• Diagnose faults, perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting.
• Manage vendors and ensure KPIs as per SLA.
• Execute special projects.

Required profile

• B‑TEC/Diploma/Equivalence in Telecommunication/Power.
• 3+ years experience in telecom industry with focus on data‑center and core site operations.
• Strong communication and vendor‑management skills.
• Team player, flexible to work extended hours and weekends.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the region.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with high‑capacity power systems (ATS, DGs, rectifiers, UPS).
• Experience with data‑center cooling systems and fire‑system installation/operation.
• Knowledge of telecom first‑line maintenance (FLM) activities.
• Proficiency in data‑center cabling standards, patching and laying.
