SQA Engineer – Manual & API Testing

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented SQA Engineer to join our team. The role focuses on manual testing across web, desktop and mobile applications, as well as API and database validation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, write and execute detailed test cases for web, desktop and mobile platforms.
• Perform API testing using Postman and validate responses.
• Validate data integrity through SQL queries.
• Identify, report and track defects using Jira.
• Conduct regression, smoke and functional testing.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers and QA peers.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and sprint planning.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Strong manual testing expertise.
• Experience with API testing and database validation.
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as Jira.
• Comfort working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Required skills

• Manual testing of web, desktop and mobile applications.
• API testing with Postman.
• SQL for data verification.
• Jira for defect management.
• Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Basic knowledge of Playwright automation.
• Understanding of Page Object Model (POM).
