SQA Engineer - Mobile

About the role

Crecode IT Professionals is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented SQA Engineer to join its growing team in Faisalabad. The role suits a QA professional with hands-on experience in Android and iOS application testing, REST APIs and backend systems, who can independently manage testing activities, identify and report defects and help ensure high-quality application releases.

Key responsibilities

• Perform functional, regression, integration, usability and compatibility testing on Android and iOS applications.
• Test REST APIs, backend services and database operations for functionality, reliability and data integrity.
• Develop, document and execute test plans, test cases and test scenarios.
• Validate API requests, responses, authentication, error handling and business logic.
• Test in-app purchases, subscriptions and other critical application workflows.
• Verify bug fixes and run regression testing before releases.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
• Prepare test reports and provide release-readiness assessments.

Required profile

• 1-2 years of professional experience in software quality assurance.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Required skills

• Hands-on experience testing Android and iOS mobile applications.
• REST API testing with Postman; understanding of HTTP methods, JSON, status codes and client-server architecture.
• Working knowledge of SQL, database validation and backend testing.
• Manual, functional and regression testing, and use of issue-tracking tools such as Jira.
• Familiarity with mobile debugging and troubleshooting.
