Staff Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a diligent Staff Accountant to join our finance team at HCA Consulting Group’s Lahore office. The role involves handling day‑to‑day accounting tasks, supporting month‑end close and assisting with payroll and tax filings.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile credit card and bank accounts on a monthly basis.
• Perform AP/AR functions such as invoicing and bill payments.
• Enter journal entries for all transactions.
• Assist with payroll processing.
• Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare month‑end financial reporting package.
• Assist with sales tax filings.
• Support other accounting and finance projects as requested.

Required profile

• ACCA Affiliate/Finalist, ICMA Affiliate/Finalist, CA Inter or a Bachelors in Accounting & Finance.
• 18–36 months of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience with QuickBooks and other accounting platforms.
• Month‑end close experience and strong Excel proficiency.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
