About the role

The Strategic Human Resources Business Partner provides senior business leaders with strategic HR support, aligning talent initiatives with organisational goals within the financial services sector.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end annual and mid‑year performance appraisal processes for assigned business units.
• Guide line managers on objective setting, continuous feedback, performance calibration and talent rating.
• Design and oversee performance improvement plans to promote meritocracy and accountability.
• Act as primary HR contact for departmental leaders, delivering customised HR solutions that boost engagement and productivity.
• Facilitate change‑management practices, ensuring clear communication and strong employee relations.
• Analyse employee feedback, turnover and retention metrics to recommend engagement and retention strategies.
• Provide recommendations on reward distribution, career pathways and learning opportunities.
• Utilise workforce analytics and budgeting to forecast talent needs and optimise resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with local labour laws and maintain best‑practice HR policies.

Required profile

• Proven ability to influence change management and foster positive employee relations across the organisation.
