Supply Chain Manager

About the role

Rapidev, a CMMI Level 5 company working in cybersecurity, AI, communication systems, defence, energy efficiency and climate change, is hiring a Supply Chain Manager in Islamabad. The role oversees end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, strategic sourcing, logistics, import/export coordination, customs clearance and inventory management, and leads national and international supply chain team members.

Key responsibilities

• Manage procurement and strategic sourcing: RFQs, quotations, negotiations, purchase orders and supplier selection
• Oversee domestic and international shipments, freight forwarding and customs clearance
• Maintain supplier relationships, evaluate vendors and set up alternative sourcing options
• Negotiate commercial terms, optimise procurement and freight costs and monitor budgets
• Monitor stock levels, keep accurate inventory records and ensure timely replenishment
• Maintain procurement, shipment, customs and inventory documentation and ERP records, and prepare periodic reports
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, contracts and trade regulations
• Coordinate with Project Management, Engineering, Finance and other departments
• Lead the supply chain team, track KPIs and improve efficiency

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics or a related field
• 5-8 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, strategic sourcing and logistics
• Proven experience in international sourcing, import/export, customs clearance and freight forwarding
• Experience managing procurement budgets, cost optimisation and inventory control
• Team leadership and cross-functional coordination

• ERP-based procurement, inventory management and reporting
• Customs documentation, HS codes and trade compliance
• Negotiation, supplier evaluation and contract coordination
