System Administrator (On‑site)

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Faisalabad and focuses on day‑to‑day system administration, troubleshooting, technical support, network management and overall IT operations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, configure and ensure reliable operation of servers, computer systems and virtual environments.
• Install, upgrade hardware and software components, manage virtual servers and integrate automation processes.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, document problems and prioritize resolutions.
• Produce technical documentation and specifications for infrastructure upgrades.
• Perform regular backups and implement data‑protection, disaster‑recovery and fail‑over procedures.
• Lead desktop and help‑desk support, ensuring timely resolution of workstation and application problems.
• Plan capacity, storage and monitor database performance.

Required profile

• 3‑5+ years of experience in network and system administration.
• Database administration experience is a plus.
• Relevant certifications in Linux, Microsoft or other networking fields are advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware) and security, storage, data‑protection and disaster‑recovery protocols.
• Proven ability to develop and implement IT strategies and best‑practice help‑desk operations.
