System Support Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a System Support Engineer to manage and maintain our IT infrastructure, provide Windows systems administration, monitor network health, and deliver technical support across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze functional problems and devise expedited solutions.
• Configure servers, perform backups, and ensure systems are ready for production.
• Use SolarWinds to monitor, evaluate, and report WAN/LAN health statistics.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot Wi‑Fi networks and connected devices.
• Provide Windows systems administration for multiple OS versions and virtualization technologies.
• Administer, configure, and maintain the Remedy Trouble‑Ticket and Action Request systems.
• Update and validate the known error database and generate custom management reports.
• Maintain web site content, classification, protection, and access management.
• Install new software and hardware (servers, printers, workstations, etc.).
• Set up user accounts, permissions, and passwords while overseeing system security and antivirus protection.
• Fix network faults, perform network maintenance, and provide technical support to end users.
• Train staff on new systems and supervise help‑desk personnel.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree with 2‑5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong problem‑solving and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical issues in simple terms.
• Team player with a dedication to continuous learning.
• Clear understanding of the employer’s specific systems.
