Systems Engineer (Pre‑sales) – Pakistan

About the role

Fortinet is seeking a Systems Engineer to partner with sales representatives across Pakistan. The role focuses on pre‑sales, sales calls and post‑sales technical support, guiding enterprise customers from RFIs through to RFPs and proof‑of‑concepts.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all technical aspects of the sales cycle, including design and architecture of switch and wireless networks.
• Manage proof‑of‑concept activities and demonstrate solution capabilities to customers.
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers and partners, collaborating closely with sales colleagues.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of Fortinet products, competitive landscape and security threats.
• Document all technical activities, contacts and account information in Salesforce CRM.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a pre‑sales engineering role, handling end‑to‑end technical aspects of deals.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with a track record of influencing key wins.
• Ability to build and maintain customer relationships and communicate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• High aptitude for security technologies such as encryption, authentication and network security.

• Encryption, authentication, intrusion detection, anti‑virus, routing, switching, LAN, WAN
• CISSP certification (beneficial)
• Experience with Salesforce CRM
