Tax Accountant - CA (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) to join a global financial services leader on a contract basis. The position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while delivering tax compliance and advisory services to a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file federal, state, and international tax returns accurately and on time.
• Provide tax planning and advisory services to optimize clients' financial positions.
• Stay current with evolving tax laws and regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
• Represent clients during audits and communicate with tax authorities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in tax compliance, accounting, or financial advisory.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision.

Required skills

• Proficiency with tax software such as ProSeries or Drake.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and high accuracy in financial reporting.
