Tax Coordinator

About the role

The Tax Coordinator will support the finance team by preparing tax records, reconciliations and related documentation, ensuring timely compliance with statutory requirements. This role involves monitoring tax updates, preparing filings, and assisting with special projects.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor tax-related updates from various sources and communicate them to relevant stakeholders.
• Prepare payment challans, seek rectifications from authorities when needed, and manage extensions for compliance deadlines.
• File periodic tax statements and returns accurately and on time.
• Record and report administrative tax activities promptly.
• Assist in preparing records, reconciliations, and commentaries for compliance and reporting purposes.
• Participate in training sessions and support special projects assigned by management.
• Help prepare budget proposals and manage exemption certificate matters.
• Update tax schedules, databases, organizational charts, and other tools as legal or regulatory changes occur.

Required profile

• BBA, BS or B.Com (or equivalent academic qualification).
• 2–3 years of experience in tax coordination or a related finance field.
• Strong communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
