Tax Manager

About the role

People Perfect is recruiting a Tax Manager for a leading EPC/Construction client in Islamabad. The role oversees full tax compliance with Pakistan tax laws, ensuring accurate filings, payments, and reporting while supporting the organization’s financial integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure complete compliance of project tax matters with all applicable Pakistani tax laws and monitor policy updates.
• Prepare, review, and submit tax declarations and payments accurately and on schedule.
• Manage tax deductions, prevent penalties, and oversee tax exemption and reduction certificates for EPC projects.
• Develop and maintain tax schedules, payment plans, and monthly tax status reports.
• Maintain proper tax documentation, archives, and audit reports.
• Review accounting entries for accuracy, timeliness, and standardization.
• Supervise team members to guarantee timely, high‑quality work.
• Perform additional tax‑related duties as assigned by management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance or Taxation.
• ACC A or CA qualification preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of professional experience in taxation, accounting, or finance.
• Strong background in Pakistan tax laws and regulatory framework.
• Experience in accounting firms or large organizations is mandatory.
• Experience handling corporate tax cases and independent tax planning is a plus.
