Tax Manager

About the role

People Perfect is recruiting a Tax Manager for a leading EPC/Construction client in Islamabad. The role oversees full tax compliance under Pakistan tax legislation, handling filings, payments, deductions, reporting, and exemption matters.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure complete compliance of project tax matters with all applicable Pakistani tax laws and monitor policy updates.
• Prepare, review, and submit tax declarations and payments accurately and on schedule.
• Manage tax deductions, prevent penalties, and oversee timely payments.
• Develop and maintain tax schedules, payment plans, and monthly tax status reports.
• Process tax exemption and reduction certificates for EPC projects.
• Maintain proper tax documentation, including certificates and audit reports.
• Review accounting entries for accuracy, timeliness, and standardization.
• Supervise team members to ensure quality and timely delivery of work.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance or Taxation.
• ACC​A or CA qualification preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of professional experience in taxation, accounting, or finance.
• Experience in accounting firms or large organizations.
• Strong knowledge of Pakistan tax laws and regulatory framework.
• Experience handling corporate tax cases and independent tax planning preferred.
