Team Lead – Pickup & Delivery Operations

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Team Lead to oversee Pickup & Delivery (PUD) operations, ensuring on‑time pickups, Right Day Delivery and adherence to service standards. You will join an internationally focused team dedicated to delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor courier performance and guarantee on‑time pickups and Right Day Delivery.
• Coordinate with Customer Service, Commercial, Finance and Operations to resolve shipment exceptions, delivery issues and export‑related concerns.
• Drive operational excellence through route optimisation, performance monitoring, GEMBA activities and continuous process improvement.
• Ensure compliance with DHL policies, GSOP, SOPs and HSE standards while maintaining accurate shipment visibility and reporting.
• Support departmental and revenue targets by maximising pickup opportunities, coaching couriers and proactively addressing operational challenges.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 1‑3 years of relevant experience in logistics or transport operations.
• Strong interpersonal, time‑management and people‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience using CRM systems.
