About the role

The Team Leader – Trade Operations will oversee export payment discount processing and ensure compliance with the bank’s internal policies and ICC guidelines. This role covers all areas of Trade Finance across multiple business segments, driving accurate documentation and timely transaction lodging.

Key responsibilities

Verify documents against L/C or SBLC in line with UCP, ISBP, ISP and ICC standards.
Conduct sanction checks on relevant parties.
Handle commodity trade operation documents.
Input documents into the processing system and prepare SWIFT messages for advising.
Perform ad‑hoc tasks assigned by the Team Head.
Communicate errors or knowledge gaps to the line manager to improve customer service.

Required profile

Bachelor’s degree.
5–8 years of experience in Trade Operations.
At least 2–3 years of document‑checking experience.
Strong analytical, organizational and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and collaborate effectively within a team.

Required skills

Proficiency in MS Office (Word and Excel).
