Team Leader – Utilities (Kabirwala Factory)

About the role

To lead and manage the operations and maintenance of industrial services—including plant, equipment, and infrastructure—at the Kabirwala Factory. The role ensures high efficiency, reliability, quality, and compliance while driving continuous improvement, asset management, and safety standards to support production.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, design, modify and improve industrial services plant, equipment and infrastructure.
• Lead day‑to‑day operations to optimise water and energy usage, maintain reliability and ensure compliance.
• Assist in budgeting, cost monitoring and financial control of utilities.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance to guarantee 100 % availability of utilities.
• Analyse breakdowns using RCA and DMAIC tools and implement permanent corrective actions.
• Manage quality, environmental and safety compliance through monitoring processes.
• Support competence‑building programmes for thermal, refrigeration, water and power operations.
• Conduct technical training for factory maintenance staff and oversee safety inspections.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum three years of experience in industrial services engineering, operations or maintenance, preferably in a food‑manufacturing environment.
• Hands‑on experience with steam and ammonia systems.
• Proven supervision of operations and maintenance teams or contractors.
• Experience with system design, erection, commissioning and support.
