Technical Account Manager - Strategy

About the role

Motive is looking for an experienced Technical Account Manager to join its Global Technical Support organization. The TAM will act as a strategic partner for premier customers, providing white‑glove service, proactive account health audits, and technical leadership across strategic, enterprise, and mid‑market accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for assigned accounts, building proactive partnerships with technical stakeholders.
• Create, maintain, and improve account‑specific technical documentation.
• Maintain a macro‑level understanding of each account’s business needs and support activities.
• Drive performance standards by exceeding benchmarks for response quality, timeliness, and customization.
• Mentor Technical Support Engineers and champion the customer’s voice across Support, Product, and Engineering teams.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis of complex technical issues and translate findings into actionable insights.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a Technical Account Management or similar customer‑facing technical role.
• Strong ability to bridge relationship management with high‑level problem solving.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Track record of proactively auditing account health and delivering strategic recommendations.
