Technical Content Writer

About the role

DigitalOcean is looking for a Technical Content Writer passionate about cloud computing and AI, who can turn complex technical topics into clear, compelling content. The writer will research and write about managed hosting, AI agents and related cloud infrastructure topics, working closely with the SEO team and other teams. This is an onsite role.

Key responsibilities

• Research and write clear, technically accurate content on managed hosting, AI agents and related cloud infrastructure topics for developers and technical decision-makers
• Partner with the SEO team to identify high-value keywords and topics, and optimise content for search visibility
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering so content accurately reflects product capabilities and roadmap
• Build a library of content that helps the audience evaluate, adopt and get the most out of the platform, driving organic traffic and product adoption

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience writing technical content, ideally in cloud infrastructure or SaaS
• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts (hosting, compute, AI/ML infrastructure) and ability to explain them to varied audiences
• Experience working with SEO best practices
• Excellent writing, editing and research skills, with a portfolio of published technical content
• Strong collaborator who works cross-functionally with SEO, Product and Engineering
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and tight deadlines
