Technical Lead – BI, Reporting & Data Integration

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead to design and deliver enterprise‑level Business Intelligence, reporting, ETL and data integration solutions for a banking and financial services organization. The role combines technical leadership, end‑to‑end delivery, performance optimisation and close collaboration with business and technology stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Reporting, ETL and Data Migration teams.
• Own technical design and delivery of BI, reporting and data integration solutions.
• Review ETL architecture, data mappings, transformation logic and integration processes.
• Ensure timely delivery of operational, MIS, analytical and regulatory reports.
• Establish development standards, conduct technical reviews and enforce coding best practices.
• Optimize database queries, ETL processes and reporting performance.
• Maintain data quality, reconciliation, traceability and regulatory compliance.
• Manage delivery plans, technical dependencies, risks and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with business, technology and project stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Maintain solution documentation, technical governance and knowledge‑transfer processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in BI, reporting, ETL, data integration or related technical roles.
• Strong banking and financial services domain experience, including operational, MIS, analytical and regulatory reporting.
• Hands‑on experience in report development, ETL, data integration and data migration.
• Proven experience leading technical teams and managing end‑to‑end solution delivery.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
