Technical Professional – Cementing

About the role

Halliburton is seeking a Technical Professional – Cementing to design and execute cementing operations that meet customer requirements and regulatory standards. The role combines technical expertise, commercial awareness, and field support to deliver reliable cement solutions for the global energy industry.

Key responsibilities

• Develop cementing job designs, including preliminary calculations, computer simulations, fluid‑system design, and risk assessments.
• Submit lab test requests, review results, and ensure designs comply with regulatory requirements.
• Provide cost estimates, operational instructions, and resource plans for each job.
• Perform post‑job analysis, recommend improvements, and share learnings through case histories and industry papers.
• Maintain relationships with technical customers, tailor cement solutions, and promote new technologies.
• Offer on‑site technical support, verify final job parameters, and coordinate equipment and chemical forecasts.
• Mentor junior cementing team members and may direct site activities.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics.
• Minimum 12 months of experience in cementing operations, job design, and technical solution delivery.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with customers and internal teams.
