Technical Project Manager

About the role

The Technical Project Manager will lead cross‑functional teams to deliver data engineering and business intelligence solutions. You will act as a bridge between technical staff, business stakeholders, and external suppliers, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and run regular technical team meetings to track progress and resolve issues.
• Define clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities for each project.
• Research, evaluate and cost‑benefit analyse hardware and software options.
• Recruit, train and mentor data engineers and BI developers.
• Maintain production technologies, overseeing installation and updates.
• Collaborate with project leadership to identify impediments and improve flow.
• Implement agile processes, tools and reusable methodologies.
• Lead agile teams, guide Scrum ceremonies and manage project cycles.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments, managing scope, schedule and resources.

Required profile

• 15‑20+ years of project management experience, including at least 2 years as a Scrum Master.
• Proven track record of delivering 20+ agile project cycles.
• Certified Scrum Master or equivalent qualification.
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience in core banking domain is a plus.
