About the role

Sortitt is looking for a Technology Lead to drive the design, development, and optimization of its web platform. The role blends hands‑on engineering with strategic technical leadership, ensuring scalable, secure, and high‑performing solutions for a fast‑growing marketplace.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with product, business, and operations teams to turn vision into scalable technology solutions.
• Architect and maintain robust backend services using Node.js and Express.js, focusing on performance and security.
• Lead the creation of responsive, fast front‑ends with Next.js.
• Design, tune, and manage MongoDB schemas and clusters for scalability and data integrity.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure‑as‑code for reliable, automated deployments.
• Establish coding standards, conduct code reviews, and enforce best practices.
• Guide architectural decisions aligned with product goals and long‑term technical strategy.
• Stay ahead of emerging technologies to continuously evolve the product stack.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a senior full‑stack or technology leadership role.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Experience working in agile development environments.
• Background in FinTech, banking, or regulated industries is a plus.
