Telecommunications Specialist (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Telecommunications Specialist to join a leading global telecom provider on a contract basis. This fully remote position involves designing, implementing, and maintaining voice and data communication systems for enterprise clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and optimize VoIP, SIP, and PSTN networks.
• Integrate telecommunications solutions with existing IT infrastructure alongside cross‑functional teams.
• Monitor network performance, diagnose issues, and resolve incidents to ensure high availability.
• Configure and manage routers, switches, gateways, and other telecom hardware.
• Document network configurations, policies, and procedures for internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in telecommunications engineering or a related field.
• Strong understanding of network architecture, routing, and switching concepts.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network problems.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with technical and non‑technical teams.
