Telephone Operator – Full‑time On‑site

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Telephone Operator to join our Rawalpindi office. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for callers, managing both inbound and outbound calls and ensuring they are directed to the right department quickly and accurately.

Key responsibilities

• Answer and place incoming and outgoing calls using a multi‑line switchboard.
• Greet callers professionally and handle general inquiries.
• Take, record and relay messages to the appropriate staff.
• Provide basic information and route callers to the correct contacts.
• Document call details and keep contact lists up to date.
• Escalate issues to relevant teams when necessary.
• Collaborate with customer support and operations teams to maintain smooth communication flow.

Required profile

• Strong phone etiquette and customer support abilities.
• Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills.
• Basic computer literacy and ability to use call‑management or CRM tools.
• Attention to detail, reliability and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional customer‑service training is a plus.
• Prior experience in a call centre, reception or telephone operator role is preferred but not mandatory.
