Territory Sales Manager – HoReCa

About the role

METRO.digital is looking for a Territory Sales Manager focused on the HoReCa segment. You will drive sales growth by creating and executing strategic plans, building strong customer relationships, and delivering tailored solutions across the food wholesale market.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual targets for the assigned territory.
• Identify and acquire new customers according to a scheduled calendar, generating consistent sales and margin.
• Analyze customer data and sales history before each visit to set clear objectives and address gaps.
• Manage the full customer portfolio, including engagement, credit handling, commitment follow‑up, and feedback collection.
• Proactively engage customers to understand their business needs and recommend METRO’s product portfolio as effective solutions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (procurement, operations) to design customized initiatives.
• Maintain detailed notes and tracking sheets to monitor customer development progress.
• Identify opportunities for quality and service improvement, addressing dissatisfaction promptly.
• Participate in team meetings, sales training sessions, and contribute to a high‑performance sales culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent intermediate qualification.
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in wholesale or HoReCa environments.
