Territory Sales Manager - Modern Trade

About the role

National Foods Limited is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to drive Modern Trade sales across the assigned region. You will work closely with the Key Account Manager and Sales Support team to achieve sales targets, build strong relationships with key distributors and LMT accounts, and ensure product availability in stores.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the KAM and Sales Support team to shape the route‑to‑market strategy for target customers.
• Set and monitor targets for key accounts, meeting regularly to review performance.
• Act as the first point of contact for key customers, handling product or sales issues, payment collection, and logistics coordination.
• Visit stores to verify stock levels, product expiry dates, and overall product quality.
• Identify and develop business opportunities in underserved Modern Trade markets using market intelligence.
• Provide feedback on new and existing product categories to KAM, QIRD, and Marketing teams.
• Track regional spend, report variances against budget, and attend regular sales reviews.
• Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and consumer preferences.

Required profile

• Graduate degree.
• 2‑4 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in modern trade or FMCG.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Ability to analyze sales data and generate actionable insights.
