Territory Sales Officer – Rice Seed (Kashmore)

About the role

The Jaffer Group Seeds Division is looking for a motivated Territory Sales Officer to drive rice seed sales in Kashmore. You will work closely with dealers, distributors and progressive growers to promote certified and hybrid rice seed varieties, ensuring market growth and meeting sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with seed dealers, distributors and rice growers.
• Identify and evaluate growth opportunities within the assigned territory.
• Organise on‑ground promotional activities such as field demonstrations, seed trials, farmer meetings and field days.
• Provide technical guidance on agronomic practices, seed selection and crop management.
• Review sales forecasts with the Regional Manager and adjust plans to achieve targets.
• Monitor competitor activity, market trends and pricing to refine sales strategies.
• Ensure product visibility and availability at retail points through effective merchandising and inventory planning.
• Identify new business opportunities and untapped markets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in rice seed marketing and sales.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Practical knowledge of rice seed sales cycles and distribution channels.
• Ability to conduct field surveys and gather market intelligence.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel for sales planning, analysis and reporting.
