Textile Print Designer

About the role

Lakhany is seeking a talented Textile Print Designer to join its creative team in Karachi. You will be responsible for creating original, trend‑relevant prints for both unstitched and ready‑to‑wear collections, ensuring designs are production‑ready and aligned with the brand’s seasonal direction.

Key responsibilities

• Develop original textile prints, patterns, motifs, and colourways.
• Research local and international fashion and textile trends.
• Create designs that support seasonal collections and brand strategy.
• Prepare production‑ready artwork and print files.
• Collaborate with design, product development, sampling, and production teams.
• Review strike‑offs, colour accuracy, print quality, and final fabric output.
• Translate creative concepts into commercially viable textile designs.
• Manage multiple collections and meet design deadlines.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in textile or print design.
• Bachelor’s degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or a related field.
• Experience designing for women’s unstitched and ready‑to‑wear collections.
• Strong understanding of colour, composition, repeats, fabric, and printing techniques.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
