Therapeutic Strategy Director

About the role

The Therapeutic Strategy Director will act as a subject‑matter expert across the full lifecycle of new business development and project delivery for complex global clinical studies. You will design innovative, operationally feasible strategies that align with client needs and drive revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development of delivery strategies for large, multi‑region clinical studies, including mega studies.
• Partner with Sales, Medical, and Operations teams to win new business and meet revenue targets.
• Translate client requirements into competitive, feasible clinical trial strategies.
• Assess feasibility, risks, country/site selection, and patient recruitment approaches.
• Develop and review project budgets aligned with pricing and margin goals.
• Support proposal creation, client presentations, and bid defense meetings.
• Ensure seamless handover of strategy to delivery teams and monitor study progress.
• Contribute to long‑term business growth through cross‑functional collaboration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences (advanced degree preferred).
• 12+ years of global clinical research experience, including operational delivery or drug development.
• Strong knowledge of clinical trial design, GCP/ICH guidelines, and regulatory environments.
• Proven experience in strategy development and client‑facing roles.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, matrixed environment and lead virtual teams.
