Trainee Engineer – Automation & Control

About the role

Join INTECH Automation Intelligence as a Trainee Engineer in Lahore and gain hands‑on experience in process automation across oil & gas, petrochemical and renewable energy sectors. You will receive structured training and work alongside senior engineers on real projects.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in installation, testing, commissioning and troubleshooting of automation and control systems.
• Support site surveys, technical assessments and data collection under senior guidance.
• Develop basic PLC/SCADA programming, testing and commissioning skills on project assignments.
• Review engineering documents such as P&IDs, functional specifications and control narratives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation & Control, Mechatronics or related field.
• Fresh graduate (0–1 year experience) with a basic understanding of industrial automation.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• Willingness to travel, work on‑site and adhere to HSE safety standards.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of PLCs and SCADA systems.
• Familiarity with DCS, SIS and Fire & Gas safety systems.
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs and control diagrams.
