Transport Executive – Logistics & Fleet Management

About the role

Dawn Foods is seeking a Transport Executive to coordinate the movement of goods from its manufacturing plants to distribution centres in Lahore. The role involves planning, scheduling, vendor management and reporting to ensure efficient and reliable transportation operations.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule vehicles and ensure timely dispatches, matching transportation requirements with available fleet.
• Plan primary transportation from manufacturing plants to distribution centres, coordinating large‑scale movement of finished products.
• Maintain compliance with transport regulations, permits and safety standards, and keep all vehicle documentation up to date.
• Manage external transport vendors, review freight invoices, negotiate rates and monitor service‑level agreements.
• Resolve operational issues such as delivery delays, vehicle breakdowns or route problems promptly.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly transport performance reports and KPIs using Excel and ERP/SAP.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (any discipline).
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in transportation, logistics, fleet management or supply‑chain operations.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and coordination abilities, able to work under pressure.
