Unit Head - Data Analytics & Insights (AVP)

About the role

The Unit Head – Data Analytics & Insights will lead data preparation, analysis and reporting for IFRS 9, financial reporting and management reporting. The role supports the CFO and senior management with dashboards, visualisations and analytical reviews.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare data for IFRS 9 models, financial reporting and management reporting.
• Develop trend, variance and exception analyses and highlight key issues.
• Create MIS dashboards and analytics for the CFO and senior leadership.
• Translate complex data into clear presentations and C‑level visualisations.
• Perform analytical reviews of financial statement line items and disclosures.
• Coordinate with Risk, Credit, IT and Finance teams to ensure data consistency and integrity.

Required profile

• Minimum graduation or equivalent; CA, ACCA or ICMA preferred.
• At least 6 years of experience in data management, analytics or IFRS 9/Basel reporting.
• Strong understanding of banking products, credit, NPLs, provisioning and regulatory reporting.

• Power BI (or equivalent data visualisation tools).
• Tableau.
• SQL.
• Power Query.
• DAX.
• Advanced MS Excel (data analysis and modelling).
• PowerPoint for executive presentations.
