Upwork Bidder – Business Development Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Upwork Bidder / Business Development Specialist to generate new business opportunities on the Upwork platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying relevant projects, crafting personalized proposals, and converting leads into contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Search and identify relevant Upwork projects on a daily basis.
• Submit high‑quality, personalized proposals that address client pain points.
• Analyze job descriptions to select projects that match budget, skills, and requirements.
• Optimize proposals to improve response and interview rates.
• Monitor submitted proposals, follow up with prospects, and maintain a daily bidding and lead‑tracking report.
• Research competitors, uncover new opportunities, and help improve Upwork profile visibility.

Required profile

• Proven experience with Upwork bidding and a strong understanding of Upwork Connects.
• Excellent written English and ability to write client‑focused proposals.
• Knowledge of Upwork search filters, job selection, and sales/lead generation principles.
• Strong research and communication skills with a results‑oriented mindset.
