US Truck Dispatcher – Night Shift (Lahore)

About the role

Astral Logistics Solutions is expanding its US truck dispatch team and needs a dedicated dispatcher based in Lahore. You will manage loads for a small fleet of 2‑3 trucks, ensuring they stay profitable and on schedule during the US‑aligned night shift.

Key responsibilities

• Search load boards such as DAT and Truckstop, contact brokers and book high‑paying loads.
• Negotiate rates to maximize profit per mile for each truck.
• Plan daily routes for 2‑3 trucks, minimizing deadhead miles.
• Communicate with drivers throughout trips, handling pickups, deliveries, delays and issues.
• Process rate confirmations, carrier packets and broker onboarding paperwork.
• Track loads in real time and provide timely updates to brokers and carriers.
• Coordinate detention, layover, TONU and breakdown situations professionally.
• Ensure BOLs, PODs and invoices are submitted promptly and maintain accurate records.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of proven experience in US truck dispatching.
• Strong knowledge of US freight, load boards, rate negotiation and lane planning.
• Ability to handle 2‑3 trucks independently with a professional phone manner.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Working knowledge of FMCSA regulations, hours of service and broker/carrier documentation.
• Comfortable working the US‑aligned night shift and reliable, disciplined, target‑driven.
