Video and Photography Lead

About the role

The Video and Photography Lead will direct, execute, and manage high‑quality visual content across XUP Brands' portfolio of e‑commerce and Amazon FBA businesses. This senior position blends creative vision with commercial performance to maintain distinct brand identities while scaling production for product listings, social media, and marketing campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain visual guidelines for each brand, ensuring consistent lighting, composition, and mood.
• Lead campaign ideation for seasonal launches and promotional events across digital touch‑points.
• Direct and shoot high‑volume product photography and dynamic video content, managing pre‑production, studio operations, and talent.
• Oversee end‑to‑end post‑production workflow, including retouching, color grading, video editing, and formatting for web, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
• Mentor junior photographers, videographers, editors, and manage external freelancers or agencies.

Required profile

• 5+ years of commercial photography and videography experience, preferably in e‑commerce, fashion, or consumer goods.
• Strong understanding of how visual content drives conversion rates and social media engagement.
• Robust portfolio demonstrating versatile lighting, editing, and directing across multiple brand aesthetics.

Required skills

• Expert proficiency with industry‑standard camera systems, studio lighting setups, and audio capture.
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud: Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom, and Capture One.
