Video Editor - Social Media Content Specialist

About the role

DG Hub is looking for a Video Editor who acts as a Social Media Content Specialist in Lahore. The role produces high-quality video content optimized for social media platforms, using industry-standard software. Candidates need 1 to 3 years of professional experience or an exceptional portfolio; managing a team is not required.

Key responsibilities

• Edit and assemble raw footage into polished videos meeting quality standards
• Apply motion graphics, visual effects and compositing with Adobe After Effects and similar tools
• Perform color correction and grading for consistency and aesthetic appeal
• Edit and synchronize audio tracks, mixing and enhancing sound quality
• Create and integrate subtitles, captions and other text elements
• Optimize video outputs for YouTube, social media and other digital channels
• Collaborate with content creators and marketing teams on brand-aligned storytelling
• Manage several projects at once and keep project files, raw footage and final edits organized
• Use AI editing tools and software such as CapCut and Wondershare Filmora
• Stay up to date with editing trends, technologies and social media algorithm changes

Required profile

• 1 to 3 years of professional experience or an exceptional portfolio for fresh candidates
• Strong attention to detail, time management and ability to work independently
• Familiarity with emerging tools such as AI editing software and social media algorithms

Required skills

• Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve and Adobe After Effects
• Motion graphics, color grading, audio mixing and subtitle creation
• CapCut and Wondershare Filmora
