About the role

We are seeking a dependable, detail‑oriented Virtual Professional to provide both accounting and executive support for a growing accounting firm that serves the legal sector. This dual‑function position blends hands‑on bookkeeping with proactive administrative assistance, all performed remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day bookkeeping for multiple client accounts, ensuring accurate and up‑to‑date financial records.
• Record, categorize, and reconcile transactions; perform regular bank and account reconciliations.
• Identify discrepancies, follow up on outstanding items, and support month‑end closing processes.
• Maintain organized documentation and assist the broader bookkeeping team as the client base expands.
• Organize and prioritize the principal’s daily workload, monitor inbox items, and flag time‑sensitive communications.
• Track tasks, deadlines, and follow‑ups to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
• Maintain task lists, operational trackers, and coordinate internal follow‑ups.
• Assist with calendar management, scheduling, and recurring administrative processes.

Required profile

• Solid bookkeeping or accounting background with a strong grasp of accounting fundamentals.
• Experience handling multiple client accounts simultaneously.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong organization, time‑management, and ability to work independently.
• Proactive problem‑solving mindset and strict confidentiality with financial data.
