Virtual Assisted Living & Nursing Home Manager

About the role

The Virtual Assisted Living & Nursing Home Manager leads a remote team that supports administrative and coordination needs of assisted‑living facilities and nursing homes across the United States. This leadership‑focused position ensures accurate resident documentation, smooth scheduling, and effective communication with families, providers, and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise Virtual Coordinators, assign daily tasks, balance workloads, and monitor performance against operational KPIs.
• Oversee resident documentation, including demographics, care plans, consent forms, admissions, discharges and transfers, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Manage non‑clinical communication workflows between facilities, families, providers and vendors, handling escalated issues.
• Coordinate medical, dental and specialist appointments and transportation logistics, tracking outcomes and follow‑ups.
• Develop and maintain standardized workflows, trackers, checklists and operational reports while ensuring HIPAA compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Management or related field (preferred).
• Prior experience in assisted‑living, nursing home or long‑term‑care operations, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Proven ability to lead remote teams, monitor productivity and drive process improvements.
• Strong organizational, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills with a focus on detail and quality.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
• Experience using EHR/EMR, CRM, documentation and scheduling systems.
• Familiarity with communication platforms such as Slack, Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
