Warehouse Management Associate

About the role

The Warehouse Management Associate is responsible for planning, coordinating and supervising all warehouse activities to ensure safe, efficient and compliant storage of commodities and supplies. This role supports the implementation of WFP warehouse standards and works closely with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and manage daily warehouse operations, including receipt, dispatch, inventory verification and space utilization.
• Maintain accurate transaction records, identify discrepancies and report commodity movements in line with corporate requirements.
• Supervise warehouse staff, monitor performance and ensure adherence to safeguarding and quality‑control procedures.
• Prepare regular and ad‑hoc reports on warehouse performance to support decision‑making.
• Identify training needs, organise trainings and ensure staff have the required knowledge and skills.

Required profile

• Secondary education completed; a Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, IT, Mathematics, Data Science, Operational Research or Business Analytics is desirable.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in supply‑chain, logistics, warehousing, material distribution, procurement or contract administration.
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Urdu.
