ACCA BT Lecturer

About the role

SKANS School of Accountancy seeks an enthusiastic ACCA Business and Technology (BT) Lecturer to join its academic team. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lectures, support student development, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the ACCA BT curriculum.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality lectures for the ACCA Business and Technology paper.
• Prepare lesson plans, presentations and revision materials.
• Design and administer assessments, quizzes and mock examinations.
• Monitor student progress, provide academic guidance and maintain attendance records.
• Ensure timely completion of the syllabus in line with the academic calendar.
• Participate in curriculum planning and enhance teaching practices.

Required profile

• ACCA member or affiliate, or a Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline.
• Prior teaching experience in ACCA BT or related business subjects (preferred).
• Strong understanding of business, management, governance, ethics and organisational concepts.
• Excellent presentation, communication and classroom management abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with digital teaching tools.
