Account Manager I - Food & Dineout

About the role

Careem is building its Careem Food app and is hiring an Account Manager I in Karachi. You will own assigned accounts, sell and grow multi-format ad campaigns (CPC performance and banner branding) and work with merchants and internal teams to improve client experience.

Key responsibilities

• Pitch, optimise and upsell multi-format ad campaigns to maximise client ROI and drive portfolio revenue growth.
• Resolve technical, billing or pacing issues proactively with cross-functional teams to retain clients.
• Create growth plans for assigned accounts and act as the main point of contact for them.
• Use data to understand initiative performance and prioritise high-return investments.
• Work with merchants and internal teams to fix experience components and raise merchant NPS.
• Collaborate with Supply, Finance, Marketing and Business Development to meet growth objectives.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience in sales or account management, consistently hitting weekly and monthly targets.
• Degree level education (minimum Bachelor's).
• Experience in account management with a track record in direct and channel sales, especially closing deals.
• Experience in the food and beverage industry.
• Ability to work in teams with local, regional and corporate teams and to collaborate across functions.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Data-driven decision making and analytical thinking.
• Strong communication and ability to drive solutions aligned with market trends.
