Accountant – US Market (Mid‑Senior, Night Shift)

About the role

We are seeking a mid‑senior accountant to manage US accounting, tax and payroll for multiple clients on a night‑shift schedule aligned with US business hours. The role is onsite in Lahore and requires strong English communication to interact directly with US clients.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting cycle for US clients, including month‑end and year‑end closings, reconciliations and preparation of P&L, balance sheet and cash‑flow statements under US GAAP.
• Process US payroll using platforms such as Gusto, ADP, Paychex or QuickBooks Payroll, and handle related tax filings (W‑2, 1099, 941, 940, state forms).
• Prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals and entities, support multi‑state sales‑tax compliance and respond to IRS/state notices.
• Build budgets, cash‑flow forecasts, perform KPI analysis and support business valuations, due‑diligence and lender documentation.
• Serve as the day‑to‑day point of contact for assigned US clients, explaining reports, tax deadlines and accounting issues in clear English.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of professional accounting experience, with at least 2 years serving US‑based clients.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience with QuickBooks Online and/or Desktop and solid knowledge of US GAAP.
• Strong written and spoken English and ability to work night‑shift hours onsite in Lahore.
