Accounting & Financial Reporting Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Accounting & Financial Reporting Manager to lead our accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting in compliance with U.S. GAAP and tax regulations. The role involves overseeing day‑to‑day bookkeeping, preparing audit‑ready statements, and providing financial insights to support business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting, bookkeeping, and financial reporting using QuickBooks, Sage, SAP, NetSuite or similar platforms.
• Prepare, review and analyze audit‑ready financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements and related workpapers.
• Perform month‑end and year‑end close activities, account reconciliations, journal entries and ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, and produce management reports.
• Prepare and review federal, state and local tax filings and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Assist audit processes by providing documentation, schedules and reconciliations.
• Identify operational improvements, recommend internal control enhancements and provide actionable financial recommendations.

Required profile

• CPA, ACCA, CA, ICMA or related certification preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting or finance experience, preferably with U.S.‑based companies.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with internal teams and clients.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks (Desktop/Online), Sage, SAP or NetSuite.
• In‑depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP and tax regulations.
• Experience in financial reporting, month‑end close, reconciliations and audit support.
